SARATOGA NATIONAL CEMETERY HONOR GUARD ASSOCIATION
Patriot: a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.
The objective of this orgnization will be to provide ceremonial burial services for honorably discharged veterans at the Saratoga National Cemetery, if requested by the Cemetery Director, next-of-kin or the funeral home. The Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association is a Type B corporation under section 201 of the not-for-profit corporate law in the county of Saratoga, State of New York.
The Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association performs Military Funeral Honors that include playing of Taps, folding and presenting the U.S. Flag to the next-of-kin, presenting three (3) cartriges to the next-of-kin, firing the rifle salute volleys. We recruit and train our members, all our members are volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a member see our Membership Page.
The Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard wear our standard uniform, Active Duty, Reservists, National Guard , Veterans Service Organizations may be able to participate as an Honor Team in their own uniforms as may other organizations, including Boy Scouts, fraternal organizations, and police force Honor Guard Teams.
Our Goal: Honor those who served.

Who we are:
The Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association is a locally-based volunteer organization. Our sole mission is to serve as official support committee for the Saratoga National Cemetery, so designated by the Veterans Administration. We are a tax exempt non-profit corporation . We exist exclusively for charitable and educational purposes in order to advocate for, preserve and support the Saratoga National Cemetery in Saratoga County on behalf of the veterans of the Armed Services of the United States of America. All of our funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to this purpose.
We appreciate all donations. With out them we could not provide the service we do. If you would like to make a donation in memory of someone, please include their name and who should be notified.
